Those three notes pretty much carry out through the remainder of the fragrance with a hint of rose and bergamot in the dry down. I'm going to say that By Invitation smells similar to Decadence by Marc Jacobs, the difference is the way the patchouli and praline mix together. Not a big fan of the bottle but it does not affect my love for this sadly underrated amazing perfume!
