When using cleaning products containing ammonia, follow all instructions on the product label, make sure the area is well ventilated (open windows and doors) and wear proper clothing and eye protection. I have a smoker visiting for the Christmas holidays. I only allow her to smoke in the bedroom or outside. But the smoke smell is terrible. My mother use to put out bowls of Ammonia when she had parties years ago. Does anyone have other ideas for cutting down on the smoke smell? And, I know I have to keep anything up high so no children can get it. Once the oven is cool, you can spray the solution all over the inside, making sure to get all the nooks and crannies.
