About this deal

I don't like when they eat human food and walk in the daylight, because to me that just takes away the whole point of being a vampire. Characters [ edit ] Main [ edit ] Ko Yamori ( 夜守コウ, Yamori Kō) [2] Voiced by: Gen Satō [3] (Japanese); Gabriel Regojo, [4] Katelyn Barr [4] (young) (English) A fourteen-year old boy in his third year of junior high, who slowly finds himself unable to sleep because of his dissatisfying life. She attempted an elaborate suicide plan to get Nazuna and the vampires to kill her, which would result in the existence of vampires being exposed and people to be scared to go out at night. The art style was different from what I usually go for, but was something I also enjoyed about this volume.

Akiyama reveals they used to be friends, but he accidentally fell in love with her, which collided with her hatred for romance. It is later shown that Nazuna's existence is a mystery to everyone involved, with her not even knowing her exact age, assuming she has been around 30 to 40 years. The protagonist doesn't like people and wants to become a vampire but learns the only way to do so is to fall in love with a vampire and have that vampire feed off of him, which is given a very sexual vibe. After hearing about her struggles in life due to her heavy work schedule, Ko vows to help her, as he feels they share the same plight, and will offer to turn her into a vampire when he becomes one himself. There's such a heavy focus on the scenery and setting and it kind of gives the series a meditative feel. In questa storia troviamo Yamori, un ragazzo cupo che ama passeggiare di notte e proprio in quel momento inconta Nazuna, una vampira. I also love how he's grappling with understanding friendship and love on an emotional and logical level.

Minus one fabulous punt that the chapter title spoils, all the comedy and drama is from conversation which is so unique in a manga that I want to bronze the book and put it on my shelf.

An anime television series adaptation produced by Liden Films aired from July to September 2022 on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block. Their interactions are fun, showing how essentially naïve both characters are about what might otherwise be a racy arrangement. He befriended Seri, and after a situation where he was saved by Ko who helped the two of them understand their feelings, he asked her to turn him into a vampire.

What that is isn't clear yet, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the whole story is something of a metaphor for depression and introversion.Sensing his jealousy, Nazuna flies him to another pool, where they enjoy themselves and she drinks his blood. That's Ko, and I'm glad we have a shonen protagonist who's dealing with these issues without being an ass about it.

He meets with a beautiful girl named Nazuna, who identifies his night time restlessness as lack of satisfaction with life and decides to help him find it again.

Then, when a cute girl from Ko's past shows up and competes for his attention, his budding relationship with the undead is put to the test!
