Jameson Orange combines their triple distilled Irish whiskey with natural orange flavours. The resulting spirit is smooth, zesty, a tad sweet, and balanced. It's bottled at 30% ABV. To make this variation, you will need to make the vanilla-infused syrup at home using Demerara sugar, water, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. The results are both wholly expected and fairly tepid. The nose is bright with sweet, caramel-laced orange notes, closer to tangerine than navel orange, but overall rather vague. There’s some vanilla in the mix that at least evokes whiskey, though it would be tough to peg it as Irish based on the aroma. This is just gorgeous. I love Whisky and wasnt expecting this to be much as you can get every spirit going now in pretty much any flavour. Neat with ice this is perfect. The orange hits your nose as soon as your glass gets close to your face and then the warmth of Jamies as it reaches your mouth.
