Montblanc Legend Eau de Toilette

Just bought a 2020 batch, no where near as strong, I sprayed 6 to 8 times to test if it could match my old bottle and it didnt come close to the 2018 batch. The legend line itself is great and I don't think you can really go wrong with a mont blanc fragrance.

It has a strong alcoholic, synthetic opening, that quickly becomes sweet with a base of wood and spices. The opening is full of aromatic, easily distinguishable notes of lavender accompanied by fresh bergamot and other citruses. It’s nice to have in your “toolbox” as a no-brainer because you won’t regret having it on after a few hours. The composition opens with fresh aromatic tones of bergamot, lavender, pineapple leaf and exotic verbena (Litsea Cubeba). On my skin, the opening smells like straight alcohol, and the scent takes about 30 minutes to develop enough for me to even smell it.I own all 3 and honestly percival smells the worst of the 3, but percival has better performance than all 3.

This unique fragrance opens up with top notes of Bergamot, Lavender, Pineapple Leaf, Verbena before sweeping into heart notes of Oak Moss, Geranium, Coumarin, Apple, Rose, Pomarosa Molecule to the finally drift into base notes of Sandalwood, Tonka, Evernyl. As the fragrance settles it leaves pleasant tonka and lavender notes and, behind it all are some fruity notes.

I really like the bottle and I'm no stranger to the Montblanc brand (I own several of their fountain pens), but I'm just dumbfounded as to why they bothered to get into fragrances if they're going to release products like this. It is also youthful and doesn't have that old spice or leather smell that alot of other men's fragrances have.
