About this deal

The actual story is set in 2005. While books set in the past only recreate a similar setting, this one feels like it was written at the same time but dusted and edited for publishing in 2023. Not sure I can explain it right, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the book is an old manuscript. Sono sorpreso ! You were always supportive of him, and you knew he had to build up his business. I think you would have understood, as Carina does.’ Then he ran too, and kept on running, and didn’t stop until he was far away from that dreadful moment. Anybody who's anybody has been invited. So, from glamorous Hollywood starlets to the mafia, and really no expense has been spared for this wedding. But both families have secrets that could ruin lives, that could ruin relationships as well.” PDF / EPUB File Name: Secrets_of_the_Villa_Amore_-_Carol_Kirkwood.pdf, Secrets_of_the_Villa_Amore_-_Carol_Kirkwood.epub

She teased: “All the guests gather, and their murder, jealousy, intrigue, betrayal and romance are all about to be revealed… and some secrets.”Rafaella kept her gaze on the table as she cleaned, taking a moment to reply. ‘All relationships are different. You and Salvatore were vortice, a whirlwind, it’s harder for you to understand that, for some couples, it plays out differently. This marriage will be advantageous for everyone. Stop fretting.’ The book is set in beautiful Italy and it makes you want to visit there. I think the "villans" in this piece didn't get their comeuppance and I think that was the only mistake. The younger nodded and they drained their amaro, a locally produced, bitter-tasting herbal liqueur. They swayed unsteadily as they stood up from their wooden stools – this was far from their first drink of the evening – pushing their way through the throng of uniformed men, all yelling and singing and carousing.

Thank you, NetGalley and HarperCollins UK (Fiction), for the eARC. This review is voluntary and contains my honest opinion about the book. Do you have to go?’ Carina murmured, wrapping her arms around her fiancé as she gazed up at his handsome face. Speaking about what her latest offering is about, Carol told Tom Allen, who has been covering for Chris over the past fortnight: “It's set on the beautiful Amalfi Coast, and the story follows two families who are wine producing families. One is more successful than the other, and their lives have been intertwined for generations. And it's expected that the siblings from each family will marry in what promises to be the wedding of the year.Busy, with the wedding plans. Although I just found out that Giorgio is leaving for a few days. He has business in the US.’ Philippa’s tone made it clear what she thought of that. ‘The timing isn’t the best, but he’s an ambitious young man. He wants to provide for his family,’ Rafaella said neutrally. Well, a family drama thrives on drama and interesting characters. You gotta have secret keepers, victims, collateral damage, heroes, villains, grey characters, et al. While the book has them all, none of them except that scum Giorgio makes an impact (at least for me).

You might be writing a book, are you?" Carol replied: "I am, yes. My third one." Carol giggled as Jon said: "Are you writing through the weekend? Are you still writing?" Traitors should be shot,’ he spat, his eyes glittering dangerously in the moonlight. He raised the gun and took aim. Carina had a sharp business brain too, and her father had rewarded her devotion to the company by making her brand director of Casa di Russo. She’d more than risen to the challenge, recently overseeing an international campaign with Brad Pitt to raise the company’s profile in the US. It had been a huge investment, but Carina had convinced her father it would pay off in terms of brand awareness and sales. Now it seemed she’d been proved right, and she was thrilled.Carol explained: "I have just finished one. I was reading a trilogy by Heather Norris which is really good. The last one was called Three Sisters. A very good book - I'd recommend it." Philippa frowned. ‘But you were in love with Antonio, weren’t you?’ she pondered, naming Salvatore’s father who’d died a decade earlier. Concerned that the question was too personal, she added, ‘I’d never seen a more devoted couple.’

She leaned in to kiss him goodbye, pressing her body enticingly against his as their embrace grew more passionate, her hands roaming over his chest and rumpling his freshly ironed shirt. The Scots presenter was getting on with her usual day job when she let slip to viewers she's got another exciting project on the go. Jon said: "It is indeed, Carol. And Nina. We are going to be talking about - people might be reading books over the bank holiday... Read More Related Articles Nonsense, that can wait.’ Salvatore waved away his wife’s words. ‘The wedding will take care of itself, everything is in hand.’ Then he was gone, and Carina was left fighting a whirl of emotions: frustration, confusion, disappointment.Weather presenting legend Carol Kirkwood joined The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with cinch to talk about her “glamorous” and “escapist” third novel, Secrets of the Villa Amore. When then? Philippa knew that once she’d made up her mind, Rafaella wouldn’t be swayed, and she’d get no more from her today. But the conversation had left her unsatisfied, and she found herself wondering what Rafaella was alluding to. To summarize, Secrets of the Villa Amore is an easy and light read despite the complex plot. It’s nothing great or memorable, though. A time pass read. Giorgio, we’re almost married. Surely it doesn’t matter if we . . .’ She let the question hang, an unspoken invitation. How is your day going?’ Rafaella asked as she began wiping down the table where she’d just been working.
