I imagine if this scent was personified, it would be someone with a pretty face, hypnotic puppy eyes, and a broody persona which indicates a dark past.

I'm attempting to replicate the smell of this cologne with other violet-based and vanilla-based long-lasting and wide-projecting colognes. Top notes are Violet Leaf, Artemisia and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are White Pepper, Cedar and Nutmeg; base notes are White Musk, Tonka Bean and Vetiver. I'm not sure this is as unique as it was back in when I wore this, since everyone back then wore Curve and Cool Water, but it is inoffensive and you may even draw a compliment.

As a construction worker, this scent generally lasts me 5 hours in the high heat, where it then becomes a skin scent.

It’s not going to make any bold statements but if you just want to smell fresh, clean and professional (not shower gel or laundry soap) you can’t go wrong with this. Personally I dislike powdery and so this was a big let down after I blind bought it with very high expectations. Burberry Touch For Men features top notes of Artemisia, Violet Lead and Mandarin Orange and middle notes of Cedar, White Pepper and Nutmeg and base notes of White Musk, Tonka Bean and Vetiver, a cool combination which is strong and distinctive.

Burberry Touch EDT is OK, a very light, ozonic violet leaf, white musk, spicy white pepper, sweet tonka, and woody cedar fragrance. When I smell this I picture a very well put together and clean cut business man on his way to a very important meeting. I have gone through hundreds of fragrances from all types of fragrance houses and this one will be a close favorite of mine even tho I denied it in my youth. Bvlgari Man EDT is a good, soft, slightly sweet, ozonic lotus, violet leaf, woody, cashmere, and cypriol fragrance. My empty bottle still projects that beautiful violet note from the atomizer a year after finishing it. I originally picked this up while on vacation in Las Vegas shortly after it’s release and loved it . The final dry down is quite powdery/musky and puts me in mind of frags I used to wear in the 70’s and eighties, sort of a “Jovan Musk Lite”.

Burberry Touch for Men is an aromatic and spicy fragrance representing the sensuality and intimacy of the modern relationship. Personally, I would not use this one in the summer…too cloying and mixed with perspiration it could be very off-putting on me.
