This is the 5th book in the series, if you've not read any of them yet, get yourself to the 2013 reviews tab on the blog and check out the other four - New York, Hollywood, Paris and Vegas. I'm hoping there will be another one, but I can't help but feel that this might be it for Angela now. The most pathetic thing that really ticked me off is how everyone thought her stupid flighty tendencies were ok or cute.
Lindsey Kelk has done a fantastic job bringing these characters to life and I will really miss new adventures from them but the I Heart series are books that I will go back to over time an re read, and there's not many books I say that about ! Not only does she leave behind her gorgeous boyfriend Alex -- she must also face unfinished business back on home turf. Maybe the earlier books are full of angst so when I’m reading them, I can hold onto the knowledge that it will all be okay. The reader knows the character well therefore there is a chance that the author won’t do the character justice and let the reader down. Inside, it contained a sinfully delicious-smelling copy of I Heart London with a lovely message, "Dear Kevin, Twinsies forever.Lindsey Kelk is one of my all time favorite chick lit authors and it's simply because of THIS series. While there is always a laugh round the corner with Angela, there is always trouble wherever she goes. I thought this was the next in the series so missed the ones set in Hollywood, Paris and Vegas but to be honest it was easy to pick up. Her relationship with Jenny reminds me of my relationship with my besto which is probably why I like them so much.
This may be because its the last in the series and its like saying a long goodbye to an old friend but also because it felt like it left unfinished business.
