It is my understanding that RAV's don't come with a spare any longer but the location is large enough to fit a full size spare should you desire to acquire one.
You have to tap into both the L and R speakers so that the JBL can have a complete bass signal of your tunes. Will this fit 2017 Honda CR-V considering the spare tire/trunk cover will sits on the lower level (CR-V has an option of placing the trunk cover in lower and upper level)?The JBL wheel hub bolt thats included was too long when we tried to screw into the spare wheel hub mounting point, so I had to use my dremel multi-tool cutter and was able to trim off about 6cm. I decided to make a complete step by step installation guide with lots of images after seeing the plethora of posts and comments of others here, but no comprehensive guide or video. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on if this will fit and what you will need for an installation in your vehicle. Wire harness allows you to tap into rear speakers and connect directly to the JBL harness for bass signal.Although the subwoofer itself has a connector, I wanted to create a harness to disconnect all the signal and power lines from the vehicle. Lastly, yes there is definitely signal coming from the rear speakers, and thats where you would adjust the "Crossover" until hear only bass signals. Then finally look at way the tire is held in place and compare it to what is required in that same . I'm running an Alpine head unit, Alpine 445 mini-amp, Alpine Type-S component door speakers and Honda OEM headrest speakers on my 2004 S.
It is recommended to use at least 10 Gauge power wires, I'm using 8 for mine and 4 for my main amp that drives the other speakers. So it's possible they're is something weird with your vehicle in not aware about, but the design of this sub makes it where it should fit every vehicle without modification. To help you choose the right speakers, we recommend using Crutchfield’s SpeakerCompare Listening Kit. If the spare tire post is welded in place and ends up not being long enough to accommodate the BassPro, then there will be no way to secure the subwoofer. On this, I set the head to around 0 and the hand controller to 0 to 2 (depends on how much you want).Given that its an SUV, it does seem likely that the opening diameter is at least 15" and there should be at least 7. I recommend the Audio Control LCi5 which will also virtually eliminate bass roll-off from your factory head unit. I can share the files if anyone is interested, but it was designed with the fuse holder I bought in mind. The 22+ base models DO NOT have the amp in the trunk to utilize the various harnesses available to allow easy install to add Amp or Subwoofer, so I was sad to not find much info on how to add an amp/subwoofer without a harness. After 30 days you will still be able to get your faulty items repaired or replaced within the manufacturers warranty and we will be happy to assist you with this.
Outlets and voltage differ internationally and this product may require an adapter or converter for use in your destination. The JBL nomenclature makes no mention of max input and my vehicle (2020 CRV) makes no mention of power output.For the best sound comparison, we recommend selecting your brand and model of headphones in the right-hand column, or if your headphones aren't listed, you can rent one of our Listening Kits. So likely taking lower door trim off and fishing wires through the firewall to the battery, but very simple stuff.
