Steel ammo is my fav, as i can use it over and over, plus with a bad back, magnet retrieval is a snap with no bending! As per what im learning is the norm from Simpleshot, my steel ammo came in a convenient heavy duty can that rides in my backpack very well, the ammo is ABSOLUTELY consistant! iv'e seen this video about some guy getting 100 joules on his slingshot right and he had some beautiful metal slingshot. I am pretty careful with my slingshots, but If I wanted one for edc I would go with plastic or metal so I wouldn't have to worry about damaging it.
