Oil/spirit based for deeper penetration leaving a transparent/translucent finish colour effect to wood, where the grain texture is still visible. Barrettine Wood Protective Treatment provides a semi-transparent satin finish allowing the natural wood texture to be visible. So far I have only used 3/4 of the first can so have plenty to give it one more outside coat AND also plenty to do the inside aswell.
