The Crosley C62 Shelf System is an all-in-one turntable and speaker system designed for music lovers and vinyl enthusiasts. Spending this much money was no easy decision, and to be told that crosley expects me to upgrade to a new unit just three years after purchase is totally unacceptable and predatory. Nothing about the design of the Crosley C62 is going to startle or perturb - it looks exactly as you’d expect a turntable and a pair of compact bookshelf speakers to look.

The sonic characteristics already described are all still evident, however – and they’re joined by the C62’s tendency to clip the first fraction of a second from the digital file it’s playing.The soundstage the Crosley creates is confined, vague and not especially easy to follow - it’s the audio equivalent of driving through fog. At the top of the frequency range, meanwhile, the Crosley manages the by-no-means easy feat of sounding blunt and shrill at the same time. The Crosley C62 Bluetooth turntable system is a complete record-playing solution for both beginner and advanced vinyl hobbyists alike.

If using as a Line output (determined by the phono/line switch on back of unit) you can use these jacks to hook it into self-powered/active speakers.

Negative wires will be black (if wires are the same color, these wires will have lines/dashes to differentiate) and connects to the black inputs. With two full-range speakers and a premium-quality turntable from Crosley, the C62 gives you a full, all-in-one system. None of the C62’s other unwelcome sonic characteristics are mitigated, though, and for some reason the way the system goes about receiving wireless information means that the first few milliseconds of songs are missed. This is not a lot of money to be spending on a turntable and a pair of speakers – so it follows that not much by way of designing has gone on here.
