I enjoyed reading the Meg and Mog stories as a child and had several in the book box in my first classroom.It also stimulated a discussion about dinosaurs, what they eat, what their teeth look like and the difference between herbivores and carnivores. Meg’s spell to save them from being eaten by the Tyrannosaurus causes all three dinosaurs to shrink. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins.

A car is all very well if you know how to drive it, but if you're Meg or Mog, in a hurry to go on a picnic, you really are safer on a broomstick.

Luckily Meg’s spell to save them works fairly well but the dinosaurs are so small that she needs a magnifying glass to see them! Stegosaurus and Diplodocus have cute, friendly expressions but Tyrannosaurus is fierce with a mouthful of sharp teeth.
