Our Island Spirit from the Outer Hebrides has been chosen for distribution by a UK-wide supermarket. This is followed on the palate with a depth of coconut and brown sugar enhancement, with a clean and dry presence, leading to a complex warmth of cardamom to finish.

After its formation in 2017, Isle of Barra Distillers became the Isle of Barra's first legal distillery and Scotland's most westerly distillery. Island Dark Rum is infused with botanicals like carrageen seaweed, cardamom, coconut and orange for a delicately sweet and spiced character, and should do very well mixed into a Rum Punch. They have now extended their reach, and delivered an equally interesting dark rum, which also uses Carageen as a botanical. A 15-year-old Glenallachie single malt, matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry casks, creating a smooth, rich character. Island Dark Rum is infused with Barra Distillery's signature botanical, carrageen seaweed, as well as coconut, cardamom and orange peel.
