There are a load of Fire Emblem Engage trailers out there, as Nintendo promoted this game with all of its might. Strategic Gameplay: Engage in sophisticated, turn-based battles across the diverse terrains of Elyos. So there are some good things about this set when comparing it to the Three Houses limited edition set. I think the design for Engage is way more fun to look at, especially side by side, and I also like how they didn’t use that suede/felt material on the art book like this did with FE3H’s.

Other than that, the combat isn't too different from the other Fire Emblem games - the characters are still on a grid and can move for a set number of spaces before they execute their attack move, use items from their inventory or skip the turn without doing either to merely reposition on the battlefield. It's a more rigid and strategic system compared to the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (PS5) but each weapon has its ups and downs, with virtually all of them being useful for balance purposes. I was also a little disappointed the poster was paper and not cloth, because of that I’ll probably just keep it sealed.Aside from merging appearances, Engaging lets you inherit weapons, skills, and more from these battle-tested legends. Divine Dragon Alear has awoken from a thousand-year slumber and will work with heroes new and old to defeat the Fell Dragon Sombron that plagues the land. The Divine Edition is a steep upgrade over the base edition and comes with an exclusive A1 poster, an art book of the game, a set of art cards with heroes from the title and a steel case. The special Fire Emblem Engage: Divine Edition – including an A1 poster, original soft cover art book, a set of art cards and a SteelBook – will be available on January 20th, 2023!

If you care about a naturalistic and realistic narrative, you should avoid this game at all costs and maybe get something like Hogwarts Legacy instead - similarly magical yet at least a bit more believably written. For the game itself, its a decent game for the an anniversary title, which features most of the main protagonists from the games that have been released to date, not counting its remakes.
