It reinforces numeracy skills whilst teaching young children about different countries around the world. All of these objects are things that are well known for the area such as various tapestries from Istanbul, Nesting Dolls, Llamas, drums etc. Each page also provides a rich preview of what different culture look like on different parts of the world and the illustrations give a great representation of the geography. I enjoyed reading this book because in some of the cultures I did not realize one of their customs and normalities.Definitely will use in my teaching as there are multiple opportunities for studying cultures and their history.
