About this deal

I particularly love Jamie Smart's style of art work, and he makes every one of his characters look cute and cuddly. While I can see it being entertaining, the slight of making the bunny scream like a girl was really offensive, and there are a lot of different, more creative and funny insults that could have been used. Jamie Smart studied art at college for four years, but it was just an excuse to practise drawing animals with boggly-eyes. She needs to learn everything there is to know about life, so it's probably not the best idea that she's surrounded by Bunny, Monkey, Weenie, Pig and the gang.

This edition combines the first two books of the previously published Bunny vs Monkey series, Let the Mayhem Begin and Journey to the Centre of the Eurg-th, featuring all the fun in a slightly smaller format.I really do think children will fall in love with this book and I can't wait to read the second volume. Jamie's characters Space Raoul, My Own Genie, Count Von Poo and Fish-Head Steve have all found homes in the pages of The Sunday Times, The Dandy, Toxic comic and The DFC respectively. In 2013, Jamie's comic Fish-Head Steve became the first work of its sort to be shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you.

Unbeknownst to them, a group of scientists on the other side of the hill are planning to launch a monkey into space.

Bunny and his friends Weenie the Squirrel, Pig (the pig), Action Beaver and Skunky the Inventor lived a peaceful life in the forest - until Monkey's rocket crash-landed and he decided to take over! I've drawn an awful lot of Bunny Vs Monkey comics for The Phoenix, and they're currently being collected into books, along with my comic series Looshkin. I've been a fan of Jamie Smart's books for a number of years so when I heard of his kids book Bunny Vs Monkey I didn't hesitate to get it for my 7 year old daughter. Bunny vs Monkey is another great book featuring many stories and some excellent characters that I won't forget in a hurry. Fast-paced, freewheeling and very funny, the first two volumes of Smart's wildly popular graphic series are collected in this unmissable book, which chronicles the chaos that ensues when Monkey crash-lands in the woods.

Leider wiederholen sich die Inhalte gefühlt immer wieder, nach 10 Geschichten hat man eigentlich schon genug von der stets gleichen Thematik. I understand I'm not the target audience for these books but I truely can't understand the popularity of this series of comic strip style graphic novels among younger readers.I think younger kids would have a blast with this, but the jokes and story weren’t anything beyond cute for me. Little does he know is that the scientists who sent him away didn’t quite reach outer space and his is in fact still on earth in the woods. all does not go well with the flight, and Monkey's spaceship barely clears the first hilltop before crash-landing in a peaceful forest.
