The licorice is only present in the initial spray and then quickly fades to a soft powerdy musk and vanilla sandalwood. The luxurious fragrance is both alluring and discreet, making it perfect for those who want to make a statement without overwhelming the senses. I can also see wearing this in all four of the seasons as it seems to know no real season and in my opinion could easily be pulled off in any weather. I think it is more of and older lady scent or first scent as it is very light and has ZERO wow factor.

The part that lasts is the black jelly bean (anis), so you have to enjoy that note for this to be a plus.
