I see a lot of myself in Zahra and I will never forget the feeling of starting this series with such great characters. As I've mentioned in my previous two reviews regarding this series, the idea for each one of these books was quite interesting and unique. It will either be the end of them, permanently, or it will be the thing that finally gets Cal to expect more from himself.

Lana was hesitant of letting Cal take care of Cami because her ex Victor had anger issues and would yell at Cami and sent her to her room. When they finally decided to act on their feelings, Cal wasn't at his best moment, everything felt like a mess (except for their love) and things ended up badly. the only reason that the book isn’t a full five stars despite my gushing review, is that this was waaaaay too long 😭 i read it on my NetGalley Shelf app and it was 592 pages. he should’ve gotten sober earlier on in the book, preferably he should’ve gone to rehab after he broke her mum’s vase.
