It was intriguing for me to see that Rowling had second thoughts about Harry having the map in his possession for so long. They can be read within an hour, perhaps a little quicker or slower depending on your reading ability and speed. I know by now that there will be special editions of the first book being published next year because of the story's anniversary - four versions, one for each Hogwarts House. I didn’t like this one as much as the first two, it was more of a refresher, going into the history and origin of objects and places we’re already familiar with (time-turners, Marauder’s Map, Sorting Hat etc).The Harry Potter books have now sold over 600 million copies worldwide, been translated into 85 languages and made into eight blockbuster films. It was great fun to see who was almost a Hatstall and the other two characters from the series who were true Hatstalls like Harry. Details are provided about specific class subjects which allowed me to craft my ideal Hogwarts schedule as I read.
