About this deal

It's nice to go through again and again, looking at these nifty features which provides high playability. We aren’t over yet because there are some figures which are included in only one of these sets, so they don’t have their oldest/newer versions.

It’s only fitting that it’s also the debut of Admiral Yularen (Republic era) as a minifigure sporting his signature moustache. You did seem to have better luck (or maybe worse, depending on how you look at it) with the leftover pieces: I am still wondering where a 1x10 dark bley plate and a 1x4 light bley plate have to go.Conversely, the Dianoga had to be put directly in the trash compactor in 10188 and took up most of the space. Unfortunately, it’s free to spin around which is a little annoying – I’d prefer if it was fixed in place. Aussie here – The DS Plans promo doesn’t seem to be available over here, and I can’t find anything about it on the Australian LSAH anymore. After Princess Leia was forced to give them the location of the Rebel base so her homeworld would not be destroyed (to which she gave the wrong location) Grand Moff Tarkin still executed the command to destroy the planet of Alderaan, using the superlaser. While the manual had all the nice features we expect, I had a terrible problem with color separation. A different window piece in the throne room; the same piece was used in the Death Star Final Duel set, while 10188 used a TIE fighter windshield piece. Or it could very well be an attempt to update the LEGO Star Wars Death Star II (10143) with more play features as the one released in 2005 was only a display model. The set comes with a mini Star Destroyer which attaches to the side of the Death Star, making it look even larger in comparison. The “incomplete” or under construction section of the Death Star II uses lots of small parts and greebling for greater visual interest. Legs with belt got a colour update – they are now dark blue, and the belt got a few more details too. Death Star is a 4,016 piece Classic Star Wars set released in September 15, 2016 for VIP members [1] and October 1st for the global release.

The product was released in 2008 as part of the Star Wars theme under the Ultimate Collector's Series subtheme. I wondered about the solid-red vs trans-orange on the elevator but as you saw I didn't have enough trans-orange left since I used them on the trash compactor. This fantastic set also includes 23 iconic minifigures and 2 Droids to ensure hours of Star Wars battle fun.Older, one pieced helmet is replaced by the new which contains two parts – bottom part (collar) and helmet. Among the most remarkable features of the set is the amount of included minifigures, which make up an extensive list of characters. Astromech Droids are well known to every LEGO Star Wars fan, and they are included to both Death Star sets too. With more than 4,700 LEGO pieces, this is a challenging build that you can feel proud of when you’re all done. The Death Star has so many components, and it's going to be difficult to know where to start when attempting to create a scale model of the weapon of mass destruction.

is a clear homage to a classic Kenner Star Wars playset, combining play into a model that is still the Death Star at heart. The model is built around a Technic axle at its core, using several 2×2 parabolic ring pieces and clips to create its external shape.

Interrogation Droid was on screen for only a few seconds, but it was enough to ensure a figure status in both LEGO Death Star sets. The nice thing is that I could spend an hour here and there and make good progress because in that amount of time I could finish little sections of the overall model. Stormtroopers are very often in the Star Wars franchise, and they definitely deserved a better look. It was available on shelves for nearly eight years, unusual for any LEGO set, let alone a licensed one. and is extremely detailed right down to a Buildable Tantive IV that attaches to the front for display, and two Minifigures including an Imperial Officer and an Imperial Crew Member.
