About this deal

Why I really loved this book though, is the combination of small town charm, the beautiful sibling relationship between the heroine and her sister, the nosy neighbours who are overbearing but mean well, the small nuggets of parental wisdom which the heroine inherited and she kept passing forward, the epilogue, there’s probably a few other reasons. What I’m trying to say is that this book might not have the best romantic plot, or the most original, but the overall story was so full of good things which really compensated for it. He waves that off. “Listen to me. Go talk to that girl. For your best friend in the whole wide world. Please.” He bats his lashes at me. Though Ronan has issues from his past and has fear of becoming close to someone else after losing his fiancé so tragically and feelings of guilt stemming from that. He has no plans to have a real relationship with anyone. This was just a very good romance with steamy scenes and more.

Being with him, even though he’s still finding out who he is and what he needs, is like peeking into possibilities.

Part 1: Main Story of Beauty And The Baller

From the moment they met they had this undeniable spark and delicious chemistry and tension was so so good. And those jealousy moments damn so cute 🤭

I loved his geeky personality and how he is such a wonderful and caring man for everyone around him and especially for Nova. He is logical, hardworking, generous and a little stubborn. But I loved everything about him especially how he cared for Nova everytime and her family and how he loves star wars. He's a goner for Nova. I'm glad he survived and healed from his trauma and past and I'm glad Nova was there for him. We become a whirlwind of carnal need, straining to crawl into each other. We’re wild, grasping, finding new positions, new places to touch. I’m voracious; she’s ravenous. I grunt with every thrust, my eyes eating her up as the headboard clatters against the wall. gets a very enthusiastic 5-STARS from me and, as you know, I am a Stingy Star Bitch™️. This book can, at times, read a little slow, but keep reading because it is so, so, SO good!My fingers circle her nub, and she explodes brilliantly, magnificently, her body undulating in sinuous waves. Then, a boy wants to date the heroine’s sister (who is also portrayed positively), and so he says to the heroine: When I wake up, my head is stuffed with cotton balls. Sunlight glints in through the blinds, and I rub at the grit in my eyes. Tensing, I turn to look at the pillow next to me. There’s no one there, not even an indentation. The room is dead quiet except for the blaring horns from the traffic outside. A heavy feeling settles in my chest, and I can’t decide if I’m relieved or disappointed she left. I rake my hands through my hair, frowning, as I try to piece the night together. It might take a while. Nova leaves NYC a year after their careful meeting, to return to her Texas hometown of Bluebell. Her Mama has passed away and she needs to go home to finish raising her younger sister, she's 15.💔 She's feeling out of her depth, full of grief and fearful she won't have the money to keep their home! Then she finds out her next door neighbour is none other than Ronan Smith, and that on top of the humiliation he caused her the year before, he doesn't even remember her!🙈😡

The same is true of stuff the hero says. There’s one part in the book where the hero uses a slightly less common word and the heroine is all “woooow you’re so smart, who uses words like that when they speak??” But like, it wasn’t that uncommon of a word. And he “spoke smart” ONCE in the entire book. 🙄 I thought the female narrator did an excellent job of giving each character their own voice & identity. I wasn't as drawn in by the male, I've heard him before but he sounded unconvincing in this book, unfortunately!😔 OWD- there are girls trying to get with H. He always turns them down. Once H and h are together, it mostly stops but some OW still give them the side eye. When they had their ONS, the H calls the h by his dead fiancé’s name

She’s not the right girl, the other side of my head shouts, even as my index finger strokes her cheek. She turns her head into the touch, sighing softly, and my chest seizes at her automatic response. it's time for me to throw in the towel, unfortunately. i made it to about seventy-percent and then … yeah. i just could not, for the life of me, continue. Obviously I don’t want to spoil anything, but if you like love after loss, sweet small towns with nosy neighbors, sweet as strawberry jam sibling relationships, not so fake faking dating, and a love story that’s not easy going, but definitely worth it, then you’ll LOVE Beauty and the Baller!
