For the longest time I was sure that the only Narciso scents for me were the cubes, namely the original creamy white cube and the Ambree versions. Then I was really curious about the new (at the time) Pure Musc in that dreamy tall white bottle. But it sadly leaned too clean and the blend felt too much like hay. Yeah, hay. The campaign film explores what is both tangible and inexplicable about modern feminine grace, strength, and confidence. With their signature artistry, Inez & Vinoodh use a dramatic play of light and shadow to portray the magic of a women’s sensual confidence and self-professed power. Shot in brilliant tropical light, the campaign has an ethereal, dream-like quality composed of fragmented memories and precious moments that are beautifully mesmerizing. Pink accents recall the new bottle’s luminous glow, while the darker elements reflect the sensuality and mystery of musc. Gentle, understated, demure, yet tenacious, subtly present all day through. Projection is pretty good in the beginning. The character of the scent is soft and easy going, though not casual. Very grown up and feminine. musc noir is very light airy & fresh............very feminine & elegant - easy to wear IMO anywhere

This perfume smells SO rich. I can see someone lounging on a fur rug by the fireplace in expensive lingerie wearing this. This is in my opinion signature scent worthy. I actually think this could rival Angel Muse as my signature winter scent. It has a smooth, clean soapy musk note that manages to feel cushiony and soft. Combined with the green florals, it has a rightness I've just never felt with others that try this. I like this fragrance, but also admire it. It has a smooth cool floral abstracted bouquet, abstraction being a quality I like more and more in fragrances. It may be one reason this works for me - it's blended, almost seamless, in the manner of Narciso Rodriguez fragrances, not about the notes. My only critique is that despite good longevity it turns into a skin scent within a couple of hours and you really need to go looking for it to find it. That’s not a deal breaker for me as I just reapply. Prescriptions must be written on an Authority Prescription Form, and the approval number must be noted on the prescription. Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number).I do love all that I have tried from Narciso Rodriguez that I have tried: except Narciso Ambree, which has no longevity on me, I'm afraid - maybe I'm anosmic to it or something. But this is something extra: it ACTUALLY comes in as one of my Top Two Fragrances Ever. And that, my friends, does not say little. I have close to a hundred fragrances, and love some more, and have tried some more... the other one on my Top is Lou Lou, Cacharel, which I have owned since it came out. So it took that long, for something to match it... I imagine a high class, wealthy, woman walking down 5th Ave in a white skirt suit, with her hair up. She walks by and she smells so good, but not of "perfume." It's her expensive shampoo and other products (that I could never afford), that leave her smelling like 'money.' Thats what Pure Musc is. It's not overpowering, put people get a whiff when you walk by and become enamored. It is not loud- it does not have to be, it is a statement, it has its own strength, the natural dominance that never has to raise the voice. CLASSY. It is not attention seeking, mass pleasing, yet, it grabs attention. It is not for everyone, and it is not my boom choice of a fragrance although it is boom. It's exactly what the name states - Pure Musc! No extra bells and whistles (or powder - I don't really get a babypowder vibe, thankfully)! It's oh so smooth with a musky punch, and I don't feel the need to sneeze :) I already own and love the original Narciso Rodriguez for her EDT and thought that Pure Musc might fit the bill of a quiet, musky, soft floral. Pure Musc is the perfume equivalent of a simple cashmere sweater in a light colour (white, vanilla, cream, ivory, ecru, etc.) It's simple yes, of course, but quietly elegant. Like a good quality cashmere sweater, Pure Musc is simple yet well made. Think clean lines, elegant and understated.

I think this is a great day time office scent, or for times when a person would like to smell pleasantly clean and pretty without making a bold statement. An exploration of musc’s raw power reveals a transcendent new fragrance that portrays the ever fascinating enigma of modern femininity. for her MUSC NOIR heightens the addictive nature of the original for her with an exploration of the darker, more intense aspects of narciso rodriguez’s signature musc. Sigh, this is such a let down. I was really excited to try Musc Noir. I have really liked everything I have tried from Narciso Rodriguez, I didn't expect this to not work for me. I smell the fruity plum, which I like, but underlying it I get terrible bathroom air freshener in an actual bathroom, like an airport bathroom. Perhaps with a touch of cleaned up and masked vomit. Or I'm not sure if just the whole bathroom association makes me feel queasy. Ugh, it really smells like toilets to me. It's so sad. I thought it was just the opening, but I wore it today, and the bathroom haze surrounded me for at least the first two hours...and then it becomes a skin scent - so this is a definite no from me. This is heavenly womanly scent. It is an aura. It is a whole person this scent. You smell it and you KNOW YOU HAVE MET before, in your childhood, it is familiar and extremely sensual as well. Familiarity in the best way, it does not belong to nowadays era of perfumes. There are notes in here that I am in love with that I cannot decipher, or describe. Narciso Rodriguez is not forthcoming with the information either. I wish I knew.

Scents I've smelled prior to this with any similarities to it genuinely pale by comparison or simply seem overcomplicated.

I've written a review for this one before, though I can't recall precisely what I said about it except that I love it. Combine for her PURE MUSC with for her eau de toilette. Live an addiction of Musc and White Flowers to feel sophisticated. In the drydown, I do get the Poison comparison if I try to tune out the toilet smell - a super muted, gentle Poison because of the plum. I read that this was also good to pair with other Narciso perfumes or any other musk based fragrances, so i paired it with one of my favorite, Indi by Katy Perry. It was like putting icing on your favorite cake. The way these two scent intertwined and blended so well together, i fell in love. I am so glad i chanced blind buying this. I highly recommend trying this scent out.Ideal for musk enthusiasts, this fragrance offers a well-balanced combination of musk, cashmeran, and florals. It's a sophisticated and elegant option, making it a good blind buy choice. The fragrance exudes power and seduction, with moderately long-lasting performance that stays close to the skin. Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. Authority may be obtained by telephone to Medicare Australia (known as "phone approval") or in writing from an authorised delegate of the Minister for Health. Pure musc is weird. It needs heat to be activated. On paper strip it only lasts for about 1.5 hours, while on my actual skin it lasts up to 5 hours with just 1 spritz. (2 to 3 hours of normal projection and remains skin scent for the rest) This was a very pleasant surprise for me. I work in an airport and decided to stop by at tax free and do some shopping. This super sweet lady working at the perfume section asked me what perfumes I like and my favourite scents are typically gourmand, floral and very feminine scents. She knew exactly what I wanted and led me straight to this perfume.

This is my white shirt fragrance, what I wear when I don’t know what to wear. A staple, something that works for any occasion. It’s effortlessly cool without having to try too hard. Ughh it’s just gorgeous! Well, I am so sorry to say but I find this extremely generic and I can barely smell a thing. I got some tester cards, they seem a bit stronger as opposed to spraying from the bottle, and I noticed that the liquid is a little oily. It smells clean, musky, floral, but very, very generic, and sillage is so low it is almost infuriating. its a beautiful scent for layering too - im not into layering but this scent is perfect for layering cuz its light , the musc is so universal so its easy to mix & the scent doesnt have a whole lot of ingredients so easy to mix - especially layers very well with other scents that have berries in it :) it blended really nice with vince camutos illuminare intensa & vince camutos illuminare The collection continues to be inspired by women; each scent created to empower and reveal women’s innermost beauty with the transformative power of musc. The introduction of the original for her contributed to a new chapter in the history of fragrance. The modern chypre musc, a unique facet in the family of chypre fragrances, led for her to become an international phenomenon and a modern classic. While many of my favourite winter perfumes are in the amber, soft amber, or woody amber fragrance families, I also love wearing soft, musky scents on days when I want something a little lighter. Soft florals with a notable musk accord are perfect for that transitional period where the days are getting lighter, but it still feels cold, and I'm not ready to pull out my spring fragrance wardrobe, which consists mostly of florals. Of course anyone can wear this, but I see this working best on a woman between the ages of 30 and 40, who is kind but holds her ground, intelligent, with a tad of mystery to her. Combine for her PURE MUSC with for her eau de parfum. Live an addiction of musc and peach to feel seductive. Some PBS medications are restricted and require prior approval from Medicare before a doctor is able to prescribe them on the PBS. This prior approval to prescribe grants the doctor the Authority to prescribe the desired medicine and have it funded under the PBS. Also love that this has No patchouli in it. Patchouli does not agree with my chemistry, most perfumes have it these days.
