Since the last edition, members of the NPCC Driver Training Group working with the College of Policing have developed and continue to update competence-based standards for police riders, informed by Motorcycle Roadcraft and the GDE framework. The new edition of Motorcycle Roadcraft aligns with and provides the supporting resources for the College of Policing Rider Training Programme and the Rider Training programmes for the Scottish Police College and the Northern Ireland Police College.
