The Squier Mini provides you with all the iconic design features of the Stratocaster family. One of the first guitars widely available and used by countless artists including Jimi Hendrix - one of the most influential guitarists of all time. If you’ve observed musicians and guitarists performing for a while, these controls will be easier for you to master. This mini guitar’s strings remain in tune for long such that children can play for days on end without any intonation issues courtesy of its hardtail bridge that offers a great sustain. The Mini Strat comes with Fender USA, NPS, .009-.042 strings. These are OK for beginners, you can upgrade to higher quality ones when you need to change strings in a few months. However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers.

The Mini Strat's body is crafted from lightweight poplar - a tonewood favoured for its balanced sound and versatility. It's suited to a variety of music genres, letting you experiment with a range of playing styles and techniques. And its ergonomic contours provide you with an incredibly comfortable performance. I can honestly say that through a bigger amp, it sounds just like a regular Stratocaster. Of course, parents looking for a guitar for their children will probably buy a small practice amp, which is perfectly fine as well. Colorful options The Squier Mini Strat is a full-blooded Strat. Ideal for younger beginners or players with smaller hands, the Mini Strat is a 3/4 size version of the incredibly popular Bullet Strat. For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs. Some models come in limited edition colours, others with vintage style specifications... there are many options to choose from! Another customer noted that the guitar was spot on, but the amp in the starter kit is not that great. It’s good enough to learn on, but will probably be replaced before the guitar is.
