Scooter mode: In scooter mode, the seat and support bar are removed easily and replaced with the T-bar to create a full-on scooting experience. Ride-on mode: The 2-height adjustable parent handle and extra wide, removable footrest provide reassurance and support for your little one in ride-on mode. Attach the seat to the connector tube by sliding it on to the tube. Select your preferred height, then tighten the knob to make sure the seat is securely in place. (see diagram 1-2)
There aren’t any specific instructions for transforming the Go Up Comfort Play between modes, but as this is just a matter of reversing the process you’ve already done, it’s very self-explanatory. Steering: The child pushes with his feet on the floor to advance, while the child’s sitting on the seat. It’s crucial that a transforming scooter like this one makes it easy for a child to learn to brake for the first time. The Go Up Comfort Play’s footbrake at the rear of the baseboard is a long piece of ridged plastic, and is light enough to step on with a small foot. The handles of the walking bike are quite narrow – 25cm across in total, with only 7.5cm allotted to each hand – which reflects the intended age of the user. As a scooter, the handles are much more generous at 28cm across, with 12cm per hand. In practice, these handles are big enough for an adult to use – intentionally, as the T-bar is used as the parent handle in ride-on mode. FOLDABLE AT THE PUSH OF A BUTTON
How does it steer? Two-wheeled scooters, which are aimed at older and more experienced riders, are turn-to-steer: moving the handlebar changes the direction of the front wheel, which gives more control and tighter turning. GO•UP FOLDABLE PLUS is provided with an adjustable seat which can be adapted to the child’s height (2 positions). Unscrew the knob and slide up/down to adjust the seat height. Align the seat through the screw holes in the connector tube & retighten the knob.

The instruction booklet is fairly small, with IKEA-style diagrams followed by text installation instructions, usage instructions and safety warnings. The text is very small, but all the information you need is there. GO•UP FOLDABLE PLUS comes with a connector tube which is used to fix the seat. There are 2 different seat heights available: 23.9 – 27.4cm from the ground. For a comfortable ride, your child’s feet should easily touch the footrest and the ground. To use with suitable protective equipment, including a helmet, shoes, elbow, wrist and knee protectors. Teach the child how to use it safely and responsibly.
