About this deal

A sad reality in the Nerf gun world is that many of the best blasters are not actually Nerf products. Instead, they are community or hobbyist projects that eventually sell commercially. Even the most powerful Nerf guns in the world are not Nerf-brand products! Among our fantastic selection of replicas and Wild West-themed air guns, you’re sure to find something to suit your requirements and shooting style, making the perfect addition to your gun cabinet. Imagine if your nerf gun could eject shells after every round like a real firearm? We’ll dream no longer because the Winchester 1887 Lever Action Shotgun does precisely that!

Choose products from the top air gun replica brands that offer some truly iconic designs, including Colt and Winchester variants. These guns don’t just look the part either; they perform brilliantly, too, with our revolvers delivering up to 400fps and our western rifles having plenty of impressive specs. Wild West Airsoft Guns It has a single tactical rail on top that is compatible with any N-Strike accessories and a very clean feeling action on the lever. Started by legendary gun makers Horace Smith and Daniel Wesson (yes, of Smith & Wesson fame), their first version of the company was Volcanic Repeating Arms. Ot could be argued that the Lever Action Rifles and Carbines were the Assault Rifles of the era. Fast Follow Up shots, a variety of calibers, and high capacity tubular magazines (for their time) compared to any Civilian or Military Firearm contemporary to the time. Lever Actions "scream" Wild West, even when furnitured with more modern polymers. They recall episodes of the Rifleman, John Wayne, and the countless "B" Westerns Hollywood churned out in the 30s and 40s. No other Rifle has that distinct "Americana" look, that even folks unfamiliar with guns recognize.

Final Thoughts

The Scravenger includes 26 Zombie Strike Darts (green elite darts) and two 12-round magazines. The magazines are spring-fed, which tend to feed better than many of the new hopper-fed nerf guns. It also has a tactical light attachment and two tactical rails: one below the muzzle and another on the handle.

Let’s start with the coolest features that set it apart from other nerf guns: slam-fire action, naked-gun mode, and a removable two-shot sidearm. The model 1873 was dubbed “The Gun That Won the West” due partly to its use of the new .44-40 Winchester Center Fire round. Legendary Model 1873The Zombie Strike Scravenger has a toggle on the side of the blaster that enables and disables slam fire. Slam-fire is a rapid-fire feature that allows you to hold down the trigger and fire a round every time the gun is primed. It’s a fun way to throw a ton of foam around your next nerf game. The Flipshot also has a two-stage trigger. A half-pull shoots a single shot, and a full-pull will shoot the second dart. So you can choose to shoot one dart at a time or both! This ROBLOX-themed Nerf gun is inspired by the Roblox game Adopt Me! and launches darts at an average of 70 FPS.

Some of these rifles on the list are much harder to find on the market as some of these are no longer being produced in mass quantities. With that said, either myself or my colleagues have been fortunate enough to have shot all of the models mentioned. Aside from having hands-on experience with these guns, many of them are obvious choices due to them being well loved classics. Why Lever-Actions Rifles? The first thing you’ll notice when you take the Winchester 1887 out of the box is that it is hefty. This isn’t a cheap plastic toy that will break within a week and is made of solid aluminum and hard ABS plastic. The Slingfire would have been number one on this list if it hadn’t recently been discontinued. BUT there is still a decent supply of them floating around online, so I’ll leave it on this list while they are still widely available. If you want a lever action blaster with a large ammo capacity that will spray lines of foam in your future nerf battles, look no further than the Nerf Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-32. That’s a mouthful. Firstly, it’s made pretty flimsy, and I’m sure the priming handle will be the first thing to break for many. Secondly, it has weird ergonomics to it. The handle is massive, even for someone with large hands like myself—which can also make using the lever-action awkward since it is so far away from the trigger.

Topping the list of the best lever-action nerf guns is the foam-flinging weapon of nightmares, the Zombie Strike Scravenger. The strange name of this blaster is thought to have come from the combination of the words “ scavenger” and “ scrap.” Versions of some of their earliest guns, albeit with updates to design and function, are still available from Winchester today.

The plastic shell uses a unique dart—the length is shorter than a standard nerf dart but longer than a half-length dart. The shells are also compatible with any other half-length darts. This unique-looking blaster has a sawed-off shotgun and zombie theme, and the finer details of its design really sell that experience.
