The closest in wording to “eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we may die” comes from 1 Corinthians 15:32: I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. In short, Mary has been inviting me to BE her. Not so that I can BECOME her, but so that I can become more of WHO I TRULY AM: A Divine Angelic Human.

Eat, drink and be merry, one of the many phrases from the bible quoted by Shakespeare, but if taken out of context can so easily be misleading. In Jesus’ parable there must have been an exceptional harvest, possibly several of them. Much grain to store and goods too. Who wouldn’t want to make sure their property would be safe from damage or rot. But is that part of God’s plan for us? As You Like It: Act 3, Scene 5 Why, sir, for my part I say the gentleman had drunk himself out of his five senses. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast abundance of goods laid up for many years; take thy ease, eat, drink, and be merry.Well accept for the All-Star...that one still matters. All that matters now is that you come out on top today. Then I’ll say to myself, “You have many goods stored up for many years. Take it easy; eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.”’

A little senario for you that I am sure has happened somewhere, if not exactly as I suggest. A rich Arab Prince buys a property in London, let‘s say, a small mews house in Hampstead. He pays 2.2 millon pounds. He employs a developer to add an attic conversion. The developer then advises him to sell it for 2.75 million, but he lets it out for an exorbitant rent. Later he employs a developer who explains, rich Chinese mogals will pay through the nose for property in prime London locations, and so they dig. A simming pool, a home cinema and a snooker room later, the house is sold for, wait for it, 10.5 million pounds. This is happening right across Central London, we hear of it in the news on a regular basis, and the Government has begun to plug some of the tax holes that make all that possible. Thankfully Russian Oligarks with their assets frozen, can no longer profit in this way whilst they wage war in Ukraine I will tell my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years. How Should Christians Approach the Concept of YOLO and 'Eat, Drink, and Be Merry'? One of the many things that made Shakespeare’s audiences love going to the theatre to see his plays was that they were full of ordinary people doing the ordinary things that they did – working, watching sport, socialising – and eating and drinking was an important part of that life. Drinking, in particular, was very popular, and with a life expectancy of about thirty-two for men, the end of their time was often hastened due to alcohol, which has always been, and still is, at the very centre of English culture. The preacher understands the corrupt world we live in. He looks at humanity's longing for control, striving for success and happiness, and calls it all vapor—a chasing after the wind. No matter our work ethic, good standing, or healthy choices, the preacher knows that the 'teacup' never stops spinning ( Ecclesiastes 8:16). He describes life on earth as such:The concept of enjoying earthly life as much as possible because there’s nothing after death is unbiblical. The Bible is clear that there is an eternal spiritual existence after corporeal death, and that existence includes judgment for all (Hebrews 9:27). Those who have been made righteous by faith in Christ will experience eternal life in heaven, but those who reject Christ as Savior will be sent to eternal punishment in hell (Matthew 25:46). Merging with Mother Mary’s energy body is something you can do for yourself in meditation by following through what I’ve suggested above, chakra by chakra. If both of these dream characters are me—one way of approaching this dream—what does this mean? It tells me there’s the one who is acting out these challenging behaviors, and the one who is vulnerably witnessing them and daring to confront myself. Clearly both are “younger” parts, one of them even needing to curl up like an infant.

It doesn’t mean relinquishing discernment about what they are doing, it just means releasing the tendency to mentally condemn them.
