About this deal

I was pleasantly surprised with the gluten free easter egg options in Lidl. They actually had quite a lot in comparison to Aldi. There’s a small Milkybar Easter egg in this post that’s gluten-free. However, many other Milkybar eggs in other sizes are often NOT gluten-free.

As usual, M&S remains the place where you’ll find the most unique Easter eggs that can’t be found anywhere else! Kit Kats are a combination of crispy wafers and smooth chocolate coating. However, does this delicious candy also have eggs in it? Easter Eggs and chocolates that are dairy free I have labelled DAIRY FREE at the beginning of their caption. I will also place these all into a separate post to make it more clear too.Chocolate Egg Shell Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Dried Whole 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤, Cocoa Mass, Whey Powder product (from 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Butterfat (from 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Vegetable Fats (Palm, Shea), Emulsifier (Lecithins), 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 chocolate contains Cocoa Solids 25% minimum, 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 Solids 14% minimum and Vegetable Fat in addition to Cocoa Butter KitKat Chunky Sugar, 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫 (contains Calcium, Iron, Thiamin and Niacin), 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 Powders (Whole and Skimmed), Cocoa Mass, Vegetable Fats (Palm, Shea, Mango Kernel, Sal), Cocoa Butter, Lactose and Proteins from Whey (from 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Whey Powder (from 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Butterfat (from 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Emulsifier (Lecithins), Yeast, Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate), Natural Flavourings Nestlé, PO Box No 203, York, YO91 1XY, England. Cross-contamination is possible, which could pose a risk for individuals with peanut allergies.

A tasty milk chocolate egg with an additional treat in the form of a Peter Rabbit plush toy from the enchanting World of Beatrix Potter – exclusively available at Tesco. Soy: The presence of lecithin in Kit Kat indicates the use of soy as an ingredient. Individuals with soy allergies should be mindful of this. As always Asda has a good selection of Easter options this year. They have lots of variety in terms of branded Easter Eggs and equally their free from range is definitely one of the better ones. There’s a Cadbury’s Caramel Egg in this post that’s gluten-free. BUT other Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Caramel eggs (which come with a bar and have the extra text ‘Dairy Milk’ on the front) are NOT gluten-free. Let’s examine if any of these allergens are in Kit Kats. These are the allergens found in this candy: The new vegan version of the iconic KitKat will be on shelves from mid-June in the United Kingdom, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Further countries will soon follow, including Australia and Brazil. KitKat V will be available through the KitKat Chocolatory and selected retailers.

After much anticipation, Nestlé is finally making plant-based dreams come true with the launch of KitKat V.

Know Your Servings 1/5 Egg = 1 Serving Or KitKat® Chunky Know Your Servings 1 Bar = 1 Serving Alexander von Maillot, Head of Confectionery at Nestlé, says: " KitKat continues to surprise people with new flavors and ingredients. One of the most common requests we see on social media is for a vegan KitKat, so we're delighted to be able to make that wish come true. This is for everyone who wants a little more plant-based in their life when they treat themselves!" According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the most common food allergens include milk, peanuts, eggs, fish, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat. While Kit Kat bars do not contain eggs as part of their ingredients, it may be crucial for some people to consider other allergens that may be present.

Surveys across the globe have shown that people are interested in exploring more plant-based foods across different categories. Nestlé is helping them embrace a more plant-based diet, with options across its wide range of food and beverages. After a thorough examination of the ingredients, it is evident that there are no direct mentions of eggs. Kit Kat candies are egg-free as is further verified by the allergen information below. Kit Kat Allergens Louise Barrett, Head of the Nestlé Confectionery Product Technology Center in York, says: "Our challenge when we set out to create a vegan-friendly KitKat was to recreate this iconic product using plant-based alternatives. To achieve this, we worked very hard to get the right balance between the milk alternative and the cocoa. The result is a vegan chocolate that we're very proud of, and I hope all KitKat fans will love it as much as we do."Wheat: Kit Kat contains wheat flour, making it unsuitable for those with wheat allergies or gluten intolerance. In Waitrose, you’ll find a few exclusive own-brand eggs that more than make it worth the trip over, but watch out as there are lots of own brand ones that do contain gluten or have may contains too.
