About this deal

The Wii version, titled Transformers: Cybertron Adventures, was handled by Next Level Games, and was developed as an on-rails shooter with some driving sections. The idea of an online game that would support the development of the Aligned universe had evidently been tossed around early in development; Jagex unveiled Transformers Universe as a Prime prequel in the form of an MMORPG at BotCon 2011. However, fluctuating creative teams took the game in a wildly different direction, and after years of delays and reinventions the game limped into open beta in 2014 as an online battle game—almost a year after Prime ended. The game never got off the ground and ultimately closed in December of the same year without ever having left beta; a similar fate befell the Universe's Chinese counterpart, Transformers Online, which launched in 2012 but only lasted a few months before NetDragon abruptly shuttered the game.

The WAR FOR CYBERTRON continues with the second chapter, EARTHRISE! With the Allspark gone, Megatron is forced to confront the harsh reality that his Decepticons are trapped on a dying Cybertron while also fighting off the persistent threat of Elita-1 and her Autobots. Meanwhile, lost in the darkest reaches of space, Optimus Prime and his team embark on a desperate mission that will push them to the breaking point as they travel to uncharted new worlds to face spacefaring mercenaries, enigmatic figures from long ago and even their own creators…the Quintessons. Kaizo Trap: Trypticon will try to drag you down into the abyss with him. You get a trophy (PS3) or an achievement (360) for falling for it. Darker and Edgier: This is a far more intense Transformers adaptation than is the usual fare, even more than Bayformers. For one thing, it's not just the Decepticons that have nameless legions of cannon fodder.Bush, Stan (2010-06-22). "Stan Bush» War For Cybertron game features "Til All Are One" ". stanbush.com. Archived from the original on 2011-07-16 . Retrieved 2010-10-28. Hasbro and Threezero are pleased to introduce the Autobot leader Optimus Prime as the first TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY product in the Transformers DLX Collectible Figure Series! In May 2010, before any Aligned franchises had launched, Hasbro announced a "Transformers Hall of Fame" honoring characters and people associated with the Transformers brand. The spot for one inductee was put to a fan-vote: Five character profiles were published on Hasbro.com, and users could cast a vote for one of them. Most of them were described with a combination of traits from various continuities; for example, Jazz is pictured in his Generation 1 form but described as a " Cyber-Ninja" like his Animated incarnation. [11] Soundwave, also looking like his Generation 1 self, is said to have a mysterious origin like his Cybertron counterpart, his partners are called " Mini-Cons" instead of " Mini-Cassettes", and he has his live-action movie incarnation's vulnerability to simultaneous sonic booms. [12] Later, a Hasbro Q&A answer stated that Jazz's entry is based on Aligned continuity. [8] The character does appear in War for Cybertron fiction, but with no particularly Cyber-Ninja-like attributes. Transformers: War for Cybertron is a third-person shooter video game based on the Transformers franchise, developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision. It was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and Microsoft Windows in June 2010. Two portable versions were released for the Nintendo DS, one featuring an Autobot campaign, the other a Decepticon campaign. A game for the Wii, Transformers: Cybertron Adventures, was developed by Next Level Games and utilizes the same characters and setting as War for Cybertron.

Hot-Blooded: A decidedly Autobot trait is boisterous and willful attitude dedicated to the Autobot cause.Unlike Optimus, Nemesis is brutal, insensitive, and devoid of compassion. Although he admits to being the property of Unicron, he cannot stand being his slave and is willing to do anything to destroy it, even if it means sacrificing the second chance to restore Cybertron. There are also a few elements that make it feel similar to Team Fortress 2 in multiplayer mode, particularly the four classes, which are similar to the nine TF2 classes smushed together.
