O que máis me impactou: a elegancia coa que está narrado, o ritmo pausado no que se combinan páxinas repletas de pequenas viñetas coloridas ("de repostería", din na solapa) con debuxos a dobre páxina nos que se para o tempo. This slice of life graphic novel is so poignant, what with the plot, the language, the watercolors. It feels truly pastoral, rife with small-town drama and family plots. There family secrets, an aging grandmother, and tense moments between townies and families. Si les dessins sont tout en rondeur, si les couleurs sont pastels et recèlent un charme un peu désuet, force est de constater que chez " Juliette" tout n'est pas si tendre, si doux; au contraire. Cette histoire, qui coule tout doucement, comme le temps et et la vie qui passent, sans trop de bruits ou de grands fracas, de tragédie est faite de souffrances, de silences qui font mal, de rendez-vous manqués et de poésie aussi.Une comédie du quotidien aussi belle et intelligente, humble et lumineuse, on n’en lit pas souvent en bande dessinée. E debaixo desa capa de presunta vulgaridade hai segredos, vidas complexas, ganas de amar e de ser amad@ dun feixe de personaxes trazados con empatía.

Juliette visits her family in rural France and learns to take comfort in the countryside all the while trying to remain positive for her family. She stays with her father, who is divorced, and visits her sister, who is having an affair, frequently. Walking around one day, she finds her childhood home, and it's under the new ownership of the town drunk. He invites her in and a friendship is formed.

Et si je vous parlais de Juliette, écrite et dessinée par Camille Jourdy. C'est une merveilleuse BD tout en rondeur, presque en apesanteur. Les couleurs ont quelque chose qui rappelle du pastel. C'est un charme désuet, comme un tableau du Douanier Rousseau... Oh ! Oh !
