About this deal

With some eq tweaks, the Blon BL03 is an excellent alternative for those with a tighter budget. First Impressions

I am not an expert in this hobby nor claim to be an audiophile. I just love listening to music and am fond of writing articles. The imaging and sound stage are well above the price range and will not disappoint you. Its very comfortable to wear for long hours. The extra weight is nothing to be alarmed about. In fact, it feels premium and comfortable in my ears. The cable hooks were also the right amount of sturdiness and flexibility which makes sure the IEMs do not fall off when you move around. Well, it’s not really about IEMs not holding a candle to full-size expectations, but about how headphones are tuned. The Aria are not meant to give you strong bass slam, they’re meant to be neutral. Detail retrieval is quite good for the price range and absolutely comparable to, if not better than, full-size headphones of the same price. Honestly, it looks like a rather elegant piece of chocolate, something you unwrap and stuff yourself with a coffee after your Xmas dinner.

INTRODUCTION IMR Acoustics is a brand that many would associate with the now-defunct “Trinity Audio”, a company that went on Tripowin Olina – very good technically, great soundstage, imaging, micro-details and instrument separation. However, it can be a bit fatiguing for those who are treble sensitive due to a boost at the lower treble region. My usual thanks to all my current supporters and shoutouts to my big money boys:Moondrop generally tunes their IEMs to their in-house sound signature, the virtual diffuse sound field (VDSF), which is an amalgam between diffuse field and Harman tuning. Glad that you have narrowed it down to the titan S. Yeah it is quite a nice neutralish single DD, does most areas above average at least. There’s some sub bass roll off, and it is not as technical as the OLA or Olina, but yeah I think it is a midpoint between the OLA and Tanya. I found the supplied silicone tips to be more comfortable than average among the IEMs I’ve tried, and it was easy to get a good fit with these. I also tried them with some Comply foam eartips which fitted on the IEMs perfectly, stayed in place well, and were a little more comfortable for longer listening periods.
