About this deal

I always discussthetopics with my husband and he wouldnt be familiar withtheEnglish namesofalloftheprophets and that makes for very good discussions. Being a revert it's very interesting for example I am constantly aware that I must pray for Sabr & forgiveness and when I readofAyoub (Job) and his life it makes me try harder - and indeed alloftheprophets had such great Sabr.. I love all your courses and while this course makes me want to be a better muslim - Islam makes me want to be a better person Alhamdullilah. Since the Medieval Age, Qiṣaṣ al-Anbiyāʾ designated a distinct genre of Islamic literature. [7] However, they were never considered as binding or authoritative by theologians. Instead, the purpose of the Qiṣaṣ al-Anbiyāʾ was to offer Muslims complementary material on the basis of the Quran, to explain the signs of God, and the reason for the advent of the prophets. [8]

Allah Almighty has mentioned in the Quran the best and most beautiful stories of the prophets. There are many pearls of wisdom hidden in them. There were a few thugs living in the same area, “Hijr”. They were nine in number. Regarding them, Allah Almighty said that they used to cause mischief in the country and did not do any good deeds. (Al-Naml: 48) The people of the nation began to say to each other Given that this Noah is a man who wants to be superior to you through this invitation (of monotheism), whereas if Allah had to call us to Himself, He would have sent an angel to us. He is telling us such things as never before. We have not heard from our forefathers. (Al-Mu’minun: 24). They (idolaters) have said: “You shall not leave your gods nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth, nor Ya uq nor Nasr (names of the idols).” (CH 71:23 Quran). The nine men won the support of the rest of the tribes and lurked to kill the camel. It is narrated on the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn Zama’ah رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم mentioned the camel and its killer during the sermon and said: “To kill him, a brave chief arose, who was obeyed, like (in Quraysh) Abu Zam’ah.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari: 4942)The story of Prophet Ayyub (Job) is one of adversity where his faith is constantly being tested. Yet his love for Allah only grows. He remains true to himself and never questions or doubts Allah’s will for a second. We can learn to be more patient and trusting from Prophet Ayyub. So Satan brought Prophet Adam and Eve عليهما السلام down from their position and led them to disobedience, and they both forgot the prohibition imposed by Allah. As soon as they tasted the fruit of this tree They were punished by Allah Almighty and immediately the clothes of Paradise came off their bodies and they started covering their seventies with the leaves of Paradise. Allah asked them “Didn’t I forbid you to go near this tree at all? And did I not warn you that Satan is your open enemy?”

Dhul-Kifl is a less known prophet and his story is a bit of a mystery. There are two mentions in the Qur’an about him that are a testament to his moral character. Noah spoke to them of Allah’s glorification of man, how HE had created him and provided him with sustenance and the blessings of a mind. Users wishing to see the translation as it was published should refer to printed copies available in bookshops. Those who understand are advised to refer directly to the original text. Noah’s people were divided into two groups after his warning. His words touched the hearts of the weak, the poor, and the miserable and soothed their wounds with its mercy. As for the rich,This course was excellent ma shaa Allah , I learnt very much abouttheprophets. Alhamdulillahthenotes were very well laid out. And I particularly fell in love withthestoryofayoub alayhisalam for his persistence time after time subhan Allah!

That was before he became afflicted. These afflictions were eventually removed from him . Who Was the First Person to Memorize the Holy Quran? When Prophet Hud عليه السلام after constantly persuading his people, saw that the advice was of no use to them, he raised his hand before Allah to curse his nation. So he said to Allah: “O Allah! They have considered me a liar, so help me.” (Al-Mu’minun: 39) Allah replied: “They will soon be confused.” (al-Mominoon: 42) Let’s now take a look at the story of the Prophet Noah عليه السلام. Allah Almighty made Noah عليه السلام a prophet at a time when the worship of idols and devils had started and the people had taken the path of error and disbelief. They gave their idols names such as Waddan, Suwa’an, Yaghutha, Ya’auga, and Nasran,(These idols represented, respectively, manly power; mutability, beauty; brute strength, swiftness, sharp sight, insight) according to the power they thought these gods possessed. When Iblis clearly disobeyed Allah, then Allah said to Iblis: فَاهْبِطْ مِنْهَا “Get down from this Paradise!” And in the same way, he also said: “Get out of it!” He then took him out of the sky and sent him to the earth and destroyed his position and status which he had attained in the sight of Allah due to his worship and obedience. So he was humiliated and thrown on the earth. Once again this story of the Prophet shows that no one can stop the punishment of Allah and that His messengers speak of nothing but the truth. As a result of this bad prayer, Allah first stopped the rains from the people of Aad, as a result of which a famine occurred. As a classic work (late 17th century) by a prominent Shi'ah traditionist (Allamah Muhammad Baqir al-Majlisi II [d. 1110 AH /1699 CE]) it is still an important source of early Islamic history and the biography of prophets as recorded in Islamic texts. For the most part, this work makes an extremely interesting read written in a captivating, narrative style.

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. And if we do not forgive, we will have mercy on you, and we will not be among the losers.” The Glorious Qur'an, recounts a number of stories that took place throughout history which are full of events that one should ponder and take lessons from. These are warnings and glad tidings for the believers. Allah the Almighty says: “ Thus We relate to you (O Muhammad) some information of what happened before. And indeed We have given you from Us a Reminder (this Qur'an)”. (Ta-Ha, 99) Into this environment Allah sent Noah with His message to his people. Noah was the only intellectual not caught in the whirlpool of man’s destruction which was caused by polytheism. Noah’s Reasoning with his People And all that We relate to you of these stories of the Messengers, We strengthen with them your heart. Through them there come to you the truth as well as admonition and reminder to all those who believe." (11:120) When Iblis saw their sorrow caused by his death, he disguised himself in the form of a man saying: ‘I have seen your sorrow because of this man’s death; can I make a statue like him which could be put in your meeting place to make you remember him?’ They said: ‘Yes.’Prophet Noah’s ark finally came to a halt on a mountain which the Qur’an has named “Judi”. Then Allah commanded: O Noah! Get out of this boat with peace and blessings, you and your crew. (Hud: 48) They’ll learn from qualified teachers that will introduce them to the most complex concepts of Islam in the easiest way. We are relating unto you the most beautiful of stories in that what We have revealed to you from the Qur'an, though before it you were from among those who were not aware of them." (12:3) Prophet Sulaiman (Solomon) was the youngest son of Dawud (david) and the third king of the people of Israel. Allah bestowed many gifts to Sulaiman including the ability to speak with animals and rule over Jinn. He ruled justly and is often regarded as one of the greatest rulers.
