About this deal

I ADORE my Vanille insensee. The opening is unexpected with lime and cilantro, giving it somewhat of a soapy/zesty start. From the heart to the drydown things change a bit and it gradually gets warmer and more cloud-like. It's a crisp vanilla, not a bakery gourmand one. It lasts incredibly and gives a medium to soft projection. Eau Duelle truly is about duality! It is simplistic yet has a complexity to it. Its slightly sweet but yet spicy & green. The vanilla is central to it but not in the traditional gourmand way. The spicy and somewhat green accords gives it a different dimension. It's just not a basic Vanilla fragrance! It is however a little more of a soft intimate scent so if you want a shouty Vanilla scent this is not it......and there are plenty of those on the market to choose from. You can smell how well blended it is and leans into this 'trend' of 'quiet luxury'....well blended and not showy! If you want to legit smell like you doused yourself in the purest of vanilla extracts, try this creamy vanilla perfume from Ellis Brooklyn. TBH, the first thing you’ll smell is milk, but with the addition of vanilla and cacao pod, you’ll get a sweet, condensed-milk vibe, not a cold, sour-milk scent. And it lasts forever—spritz this syrupy fragrance on your clothes, and they’ll be covered until you throw them in the wash. I'm loving this simplistic refined vanilla. It's easy to wear, cozy and just nice! I get a little citrus in the opening - not a lot and not for long. It gives me aromatic green spiciness and smooth vanilla that's neither too woody nor too sweet. A good balance of both. It smells natural and well blended. Stays extremely close to the body but is surpringly long lasting on skin. Dries down with a bit of root beer /cola vibe. I gotta get a bottle of this soon. Very winter appropriate despite being a lighter fragrance. Do you want a perfume that smells strictly of vanilla or has a faint whisper of sweetness from a vanilla note? If the vanilla notes in your perfume are in the foundation with eight other base notes, it likely won’t have that strong of a vanilla scent. But on the other hand, if you want to really smell the vanilla, look for a perfume with only a few other notes throughout, one that only includes one or two other base notes, or that includes vanilla in the middle or opening. You can also look for a vanilla perfume that combines a few types of vanilla, like vanilla orchid or vanilla bourbon. Decide on the type

Vanilla Incense Benefits: Mood-Boosts, Mindfulness and More

Vanilla is a familiar and comforting scent, used in aromatherapy to promote relaxation and stress relief. This sweet and soothing scent can provide a number of benefits for your mind and body. Eau Duelle is a very linear, warm fragrance. On my skin, it opens a little camphorous, but in no time turns into spicy vanilla, which is sweet, but not too much. To me, this is great because I have a problem with sugary vanillas, but this is plain delicious, and my partner says I smell edible, so extra points for that ;)Vanille Insensée is quite a departure from the simple citrus scents that Atelier Cologne is known for. It is strange - the combination of notes is somewhat discordant, and the vanilla itself is less sweet than is typical in modern perfumery. It is quite amber-heavy - not a bad thing in my book, but unexpected from Atelier Cologne. It's like passing by a gelato store, and you smell that freshly ground vanilla beans swirled in the heavy cream. Sweet and dreamy, like a childhood cream. I'm mostly reviewing the EDT, but since I'm referring a bit to the EDP I'm going to list this review there as well. A slightly weird woody-citrusy vanilla. Not super sweet or anything, but it makes me nauseous for some reason. No. Just no. If you love how your hair smells after you go camping, then I guarantee you’ll love this fragrance. It combines all those earthy notes you love (tobacco leaves, pine, incense, and cedarwood) with warm vanilla. But trust: This fragrance isn’t actually sweet at all—instead, it’s actually very sheer and meant to be a skin scent, meaning it sits really close to your skin and smells like you, but better.

Vanilla Perfumes for Every Scent - Cosmopolitan 13 Best Vanilla Perfumes for Every Scent - Cosmopolitan

A dry spicy vanilla fragrance. 100% unisex, for fall and winter. The longevity and sillage are correct. For me, it is not a gourmand scent. Can’t really speak to the longevity since I showered when I got home…however the sales associate assured me that the EDP and EDT are very similar, except for the longevity being superior in the EDP. I will say I preferred the opening of the EDT. It’s lighter, more airy.I get the feeling they wanted to approach the scent of a real vanilla bean (which is quite woody and rum-like and a bit dissonant) but also didn't want to sacrifice that heady vanilla pudding (vanillin) vibe you meet in a lot of ambers, so the result is a bit of both but with out the intrigue of either. I shall never forget. They were those massive poisonous bugs, that made so much noise, a tragedy for someone like me that has a phobia for insects. While it's not the most unique, heavenly vanilla... it's a great one for those who don't want to walk around smelling like a bakery. Totally unisex, leaning neither towards masculine or feminine - a calming, neutral, 'safe' scent. The vanilla in this scent IS very similar to the vanilla in Diptyque's "Eau Duelle", where it's almost dry, dusty, and peaceful. A very zen vanilla. The other main player in VI is a woods note - though this is a VERY soft woods... nothing sharp, rubbery, pencil-shavings-note, or anything! Really a very awesome blend into the fragrance. To me, the lime is barely noticeable, and anything else in the 'most prominent' pyramid is undetectable.
