About this deal

In this collection Premium-Tequila combines the full 818 tequila range to provide the complete tasting set. Daraz reached out to an industry acquaintance at Diageo, the parent company behind Don Julio, who, he says, claimed that its growth involved “years of carefully planned celebrity partnerships.

Once a spirit for those in the know, the 1942 has since its debut established itself as a must-have celebratory spirit at premier nightlife events worldwide. The bottle comes in an elegant chocolate-colored box with gold leaf that further enhances the Don Julio 1942 prestige. In 1942, a teenager named Don Julio Gonzalez Frausto Entrado discovered a spirit and later, he opened his distillery on borrowed money. Since Don Julio 1942 is an aged tequila, it has had plenty of time to develop a complex flavor profile. Carolyn Kissick is a Guadalajara-based partner at the consultancy firm Tequila Partners and director of consumer education and experience at SipTequila, a private tequila club. This small-batch variety from such a storied brand makes it buzz-worthy, but its unique aromas, flavors, finish, and gorgeous bottle make this one special tequila.

Not every liqueur makes it to the international level of success, similarly, not every liqueur goes out of trend even after centuries. Añejo tequila is created for sipping, and the longer the aging process, the smoother and more nuanced a bottle is. Don Julio’s surge in popularity hasn’t been tied to clearly defined geographical boundaries, either.
