The plot starts strong, stays steady, and just when you're winding up on the end of the book and you're thinking "ok that was great and all but what am I missing?

He’s our romantic interest and the man who gets in an arrangement of sex with Tate – as you know already.the only thing i could give it ends with us merit for was the message of breaking the cycle (even that is up for debate).

Buuut then he had to go and repeat it 3928272 times in the middle of sex and make it stand out as WTF (I literally started considering whether or not this might cause a problem later on, but nope, it's enough to make our Auburn swoon some more. The day he was crying on the floor outside of Corbin’s apartment would have been his son’s sixth birthday. Miles reintroduces himself to Tate so that they can start afresh, but he doesn’t talk to her much while they’re moving her things. But then he says that he’s always the one that gets dumped so I think we know what the real problem is here.Rapid fire nitpicks from yours truly include; Ellen Degeneres, confusing time jumps, this being categorized as romance, the fact that only Atlas’ wedding vows were shown, and Emerson Dory being named Emerson Dory! I can’t for the life of me understand why this series is hailed as one about ending the cycle of abuse, since the cycle of abuse in the books doesn’t even end! Seven occasions (albeit not particularly interesting occasions either aside from tiny splashes of cute moments) it takes for them to fall madly in love with each other, but not even one to want to jump the other. This book isn’t like anything we have read by her and the artwork/confession connection was completely BRILLANT!

There’s an added layer to it that I absolutely loved but that I won’t mention because discovering it as you read is honestly best.This novel explores the experiences and feelings of Tate and Miles as they try to have a no strings attached, sex relationship.
