I decided to read this just to get my NetGalley feedback ratio up, then immediately thought it was the weirdest shit (tbh, the arm thing is just the tip of the iceberg and it truly is The Weirdest Shit), but I will say that this book kept me on my toes and in the end it turned out to be quite endearing? I had already purchased the paper back of this book that had the first two chapters in it after reading Dino Stud last month - I was extremely happy to see that the completed story was released!

Those first two chapters were pretty much a story in themselves, but it didn’t provide the HEA I had hoped for between Tanis and Big Al the allosaurus. It really captures the style of old pulp novels and was honestly the deciding factor in me wanting to read this book.

I don't know if I could have dealt with a full length novel, but the plot (such as it was) did feel a bit rushed.

After reading Dino Stud on NetGalley a couple of months ago I jumped at the chance to read Wet Hot Allosaurus Summer when it became available as a read now.This neo-transcendentalist work of post-industrial inter-species romance starts off with a bang: in the first few pages Tanis meets Big Al, loses her virginity to Big Al, and gets shot in the shoulder by her ornithoscelidaphobic father.
