Our Nutritional Yeast is non-GMO and grown naturally in the United States on a mixture of sugar cane and sugar beet molasses and dried at a low temperature to "deactivate" it. Exclusively made from organic molasses and nurtured through extended fermentation, they ensure superior vitamin bioavailability.

It was all based on a misreading (or not reading at all) of proposed amendments to the EPA rules on the manufacture of both baker’s and nutritional yeast. Our nutritional yeast is non-fortified, which means we have not added any synthetic vitamins that are not naturally occurring in nutritional yeast.
